Facts on the Biome

-Biome in Yellowstone: taiga.

-Average temperature: 1 degrees Celsius.

-Precipitation: around 20 to 200 centimeters which is mostly snow.

-Winters are cold and long

-Summers are short and cool

-The snow melt and low temperatures make it evaporate very little in the summer making the ground very wet during growing season.

What are the climate factors that affect the distribution of various organisms?

- Abiotic factors such as: wind, air, light, temperature, water, sun, soil, and gases can affect the distribution of various organisms.

-If the temperature increases drastically, that can lead to lack of water, lack of food sources, and  over heating. This way organisms die from overheating, thirst, or hunger.
